Hello Tiny House Friends!
Last weekend I leveled the trailer and began stabilizing it with cinderblocks donated by the ever-wonderful Cheryl & Butch Austin (hey, you're reading this! hii!). Then, I promptly went down with a wicked cold and have been playing catch-up ever since recovering. Sometimes the body is wiser than my too-much-go-go habits, and has to remind me to slow down and self-nourish :-) Thanks, body!
Due to the whole playing-catch up AND getting ready to open my Wild Sanctuary Massage practice, I won't be hosting a Build Community! this Sunday. Next Sunday, some of my siblings will be back in town -- so reserving the weekend for family :-)
Starting in September (Sunday, the 7th), I'm going to adjust things a wee bit. Folks are welcome to drop by any time between 10a - 3pm, and are welcome to join in helping with whatever it is that I'm working on (re-arranging lumber, applying decking, moving windows, breaking for tea, compiling an "oops, I forgot these items" list, etc). Stay for as little or as long as you'd like, with as little or big skills as you've got :-) I'm still figuring this out as I go along.
And last but not least, this video (below) that my friend Kate sent me this morning (with the comment "So this is kind of how I imagine you start your mornings sometimes." Haha, maybe I should try it :-) MY WHOLE HOUSE IS GREAT, I CAN DO ANYTHING GOOD (yeah, yeah, yeah) <3
